We have just rolled out the latest release of PureClarity - you will now see the latest version of PureClarity when you log in to your dashboard (wahoo!). This major release includes two key features that are simply too exciting to present in a single post, along with a number of additional features and UI improvements.
You can read about the two key features here:
Admin Area for Managing Recommenders.
PureClarity's latest update enables you to set your own default 'display' titles for each recommender in a single admin area. We also understand that sometimes there may be company or industry specific reasons as to why you may not wish to include a particular recommender from the 37+ types available, and so now you can let PureClarity know if there are any recommenders which the AI should be ignoring.
Top Tip: Changing the default display titles here doesn't mean you lose the ability to override specific recommender titles for your campaigns; individual titles can still be set for each BMZ and don't worry, we won't replace them when you change the default!
AI Recommender Improvements.
Just as your PureClarity personalized recommendations become more intelligent as they are supported by more data and behavioral patterns, the PureClarity AI Engine becomes smarter as our Product Development Team teaches it new standards, new ways of looking at data and new connections to look out for. As well as our commitment to launching new features, the PureClarity Product Development Team is committed to nurturing what is really the heart of the product, the AI Engine. Whilst these updates, unfortunately, don’t come with lovely screenshots or the big ‘ta-daa!’ we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve successfully taught our AI Engine to not only understand even more connections between products and recommenders but also understand what else is happening around each recommender at that time. What is being shown where, and what not to show – because it understands more intelligently what your customers want to see.
Think of it as our AI Engine graduating ‘Personalized Merchandising’ with honors. Well done AI Engine, we’re proud of you!
Redesigned UI for Creating/Editing BMZs.
The UI for configuring BMZ’s has been redesigned based on your feedback and usability studies. The updated Merchandising management area now allows you to choose which content type and recommender type you'd like to set up, i.e AI Default Recommender, Override Recommender or Manual Recommender, all within a centralized step-by-step setup wizard.
Once you've picked which kind of content you would like to show in the BMZ and have set up the content itself, whether that be an image, custom HTML, carousel or recommender, you will be given the option to select which style you wish to use for that particular BMZ. For each zone you can choose to use either the default styles or any of custom styles (see 'Template Management has Arrived') you may have set up in the 'Configurations - Templates - Merchandising'.
Top tip: Why not use different styles in your Split Tests and see how presenting your personalized content impacts the effectiveness. If one style works better than another, why not create a new default set and rollout across the board using the 'Templates - Merchandising' and preview mode features.
Admin area for configuring BMZs.
After listening to client feedback, we quickly identified the need for a way to manage the adding and tagging of BMZs from within the PureClarity dashboard. You can now add/edit/delete BMZ areas by heading to 'Configurations - BMZs'.
For all existing clients, your BMZs have been migrated over into the new management area, and so for each of your page templates (BMZ Group) you'll find your references.
This is just the beginning of a large number of new features we have planned for the coming weeks and months - and, it's all down to you! Thank you for sharing your feedback, ideas and thoughts with us. Your comments really help us to understand how to make life simpler, more innovative and fun for you, our clients, who are using the dashboard every day.
