Note: To use triggered emails you will first need to verify the email domain.
PureClarity will monitor customers behavior and match any event that is applicable to them and send the appropriate chain of emails to them.
You can configure the frequency and timing of these automated emails along with the general content. PureClarity will provide the product recommendations based on its knowledge of the individual and their behavior.
To manage automated email events click on the ‘Triggered Emails’ on the main left hand menu in the console. You will then be able to see all the supported events:
There are currently 3 automated triggered email types:
To edit the email template and configuration settings for one of the three types click on the ‘Edit’ button where you will be presented with the email chains for the event.
An email chain is a series of emails that will occur after an event. For example, the abandoned basket event below shows two emails that will happen one after another to the same individual after the event of ‘Abandoned Basket’. The first email has been configured to be sent 'immediately after the event' but can easily be configured to be sent minutes, hours, days, months or even years after the event if necessary.

Subsequent emails will only be sent out if the individual doesn’t perform an action after receiving the email that is associated with the event type. So, for ‘Abandoned Basket’ email chains will continue from until the individual looks at their previous basket or performs another transaction.

When is an email triggered?
What constitutes an abandoned basket for PureClarity, is as long as your customer doesn't complete the purchase (i.e. as long as PureClarity doesn't receive the order event), then PureClarity will treat it as an abandoned basket.
The basket is abandoned when the session expires, which is thirty minutes of the visitor performing no activity on the site. If the trigger is set for immediately after the basket abandonment, there is a period of time as information goes through the PureClarity system, and then the email gets sent to the client. Otherwise it will be sent when you specified when setting up the email.
There are a few exceptions, for example if PureClarity has sent one in the last 24 hours, it will not send another. If PureClarity doesn't have the email address for someone who abandoned a basket, then it can't send the email.
