To edit an email click on the edit icon in the list of emails defined for the trigger event or to create a new email click on the ‘Create New Email’. You will then be able to define the email details, email properties and review the summary; you will also be able to preview the email. You can easily change the look and feel within the wizard however if you want to change the underlying template you're able to edit the HTML too.
The email details allows you to name the email and set the event timings. Below is an example:
You can configure the timing of emails by clicking on the clock icon next to the email timings box. Select either ‘immediately’ or the number of days, weeks or months after the event.
Once you have defined the email details you can setup the email properties which includes the style of the email to be sent. You can also edit the default HTML template for the email within the 'Template' tab if you want to change any of the default look and feel of the triggered email.
In addition to the standard properties you can define the look and feel of the products abandoned.
Also, PureClarity includes personalized recommendations within the email that you can style.
The summary information validates the email to make sure that everything is correctly defined. If you've set the status of the email to 'Active' it will become active immediately.
Testing Your Email
If you want to test your email, choose the State as Generate Only (Don't Send). This means they'll appear in the TriggeredEmail log and can be viewed, but won't be sent, allowing you to ensure all is set up correctly.
