Products can store their prices in multiple currencies. In order to search using the correct currency, send the 'currency' event. This will cause PureClarity to use the specified currency in all future auto-complete, search and merchandising requests for the session. Note that any elements already rendered on the page will not be changed.
The currency code must be a valid ISO 4217 currency code, (e.g. “GBP”, “USD”, etc.). Prices in the currency must already be stored against the products in the feed before sending the event. See Data Feeds for more details.
PureClarity will not do exchange rate price conversion. The price for each currency supported by the site needs to be sent in the feed.
The format of the event is:
_pc('currency', '<ISO 4217 code>');
//Sets the currency to be GBP
